Cashing in on fatherhood Dad
Andrew Daddo, positioning himself as ‘Practical dad’ in a certain Sunday newspaper: “We’re not dads for a day, we’re dads forever.” Also fronts as the family icon in telco and kids’ medicine TV ads.

Cool Dad Wallaby, Brendan Cannon, father of three celebrated Fathers Day with family lunch, followed by watching The Queensland Rugby finals and topped it off by seeing cool dude band Powderfinger.

Forgetful  Dad Shaun Micallef, “There’s nothing that says ‘I forgot’ more than an e-card.”

Good bloke  Dad Paul Roos, on Father Day, says “It’s a wake up call and a reminder if you haven’t done enough with your kids or the kids haven’t done enough with Dad.”

Intrepid  Dad Robert Schneider was awarded a Community Father gong by the Australian Father Day Council for his work on setting up a free respite centre in his home.  Schneider is a  father of three and an intrepid trekker has summitted Mount Kilimanjaro and watched the sunrise on Mount Everest (but did you climb it Robert?)

    I would nominate my son as Dad of the year for the way he looked after the kids since they were born . Carrying out tasks such as feeding the kids when they were off the breast, to babysitting at 5am when he was doing reports to taking them off to kinder and picking them up to ditto for school. And pretty well attending to their every need. On reflection I made a miserable Dad.
    Go spend more time with you children, they grow up too quickly.

    Hey, chill, nobody’s perfect and I’m sure you were doing your best at the time. My dad used to say to me…THERE IS NEVER THE WRONG TIME TO DO THE RIGHT THING, pick up the phone.
