It was very joyful to see how boats float and move swiftly in fast-moving rain water. We used to attach a knife (made from paper) at the bottom thinking that it would cut through the path to prevent damage to the boat from any under water objects- well it was probably more for our own satisfaction, even if it wouldn’t be of much use. Playing with paper made planes was also great fun in those good old days. We even used these planes to send letters (written on small paper pieces) to friends during the play. What a great feeling to see our paper plane fly high in the sky for such a long time and then slowly land on the ground. I guess these things are not attractive anymore for kids today (2011) when we have electric boats which can give a live boating experience and electric airplanes which can be controlled by a remote to keep them in the sky as long as you want.
