How many kids do you have and what are their ages? Two children: Cheyenne Calista 9 1/2yrs & Indiana Rose 2 1/2yrs
What is your greatest ‘Dad moment’ outside of your kid(s) birth?
Watching their faces light up at Christmas time when they get spoilt rotten.
What’s the most rewarding thing about being a Dad?
Seeing them grow up and develop their own individual personalities
What drives you crazy about being a Dad?
No more sleep-ins
What’s your kids favourite meal, that is made by you?
Banana fritters and ice cream
Dust bananas in plain flower then dip into batter (1 cup flour, 200ml beer and 1 egg)
Then drop into saucepan of boiling oil until batter is golden. Allow to cool
Serve with two scoops of golden north vanilla ice cream and drizzle honey over the top of banana
What’s your response to “Dad we’re bored”?
I take them outside and play games with them
What’s the best holiday you’ve done with the kids and why?
We went to the Gold Coast and went to the theme parks with the kids which was great because they had something for all ages so both kids were happy.
If there was one piece of advice you would give to a new dad what would it
be? No matter how busy you get always put aside time for the family, especially early so you can bond with your kids.
